posted 12-28-2002 08:31 PM                OK, after a year + of on again, off again code P0172 (mixture too rich)-that even a state certified emissions shop couldn't find as was very intermittent, it is back SOLID now aling with P0420(catalyst effeciency low). New on car recently(previous to solid code failure) are coil packs/housings, plugs, plug "non-wires", front O2 sensor, fuel filter, air filter, cleaned IAC. Pulled plugs this weekend and all had a litte carbon on, so is not seem to be confined to one cylinder misfiring . Compression is good also. Car seems to run fine. Any experienced or educated advice appreciated. 96 Sunfire 2.4L 5spd. IP: Logged
